Q) How many years has Dr. Swanson been practicing dentistry?
A) Dr. Swanson has been practicing dentistry since 1986.

Q) Do I have to have xrays when I get my teeth cleaned?
A) Yes, xrays and perio probing are necessary at cleaning appointments. This is the only way a doctor and the hygienist can get an accurate picture of your periodontal readings. Please note that periodontal disease has been linked to heart disease.

Q) Do you take emergencies?
A) Yes, emergencies will be seen within 24 hours or on the same day, if possible.

Q) Do you take children?
A) Yes, we take children 4 years old and up depending on the child's tolerance for dental work, there are occasions when a child must be referred to a periodontist.

Q) Do you do extractions and root canals?
A) Yes, we are a full service dental office, including general dentistry, extractions, root canals, mini implants, cerec or same day crowns.

Q) Do you do bleaching?
A) Yes, we offer 1 hour bleaching in the office which includes take home trays for touch ups as needed for the future.

Q) Do you take dental insurance?
A) Yes, we take most insurances, however we are not preferred providers for all insurances but will assist you in filing for insurance. Please check with our front desk for any insurance questions you might have. Note Dr. Matthew LaSorsa is a practitioner for extractions and root canals and he is not a provider for any insurance.

Q) Are you open on Saturdays?
A) By appointment only for cases that require extensive dental work.

Q) Do you do crowns?
A) Yes, we offer several different types of crowns, such as cerec crowns, which are all ceramic crowns with color matched restorations, which allow you to have your permanent crowns the same day. We also offer impress crowns, veneers, and lumineers.

Q) Do you do implants?
A) Yes, we offer traditional wide body and mini implants.

Q) Do you do dentures and partials?
A) Yes, we offer all phases of cosmetic dentistry.

Q) Do you offer deep cleanings?
A) Yes, we offer periodontal treatment, root planning, laser periodontal treatment, and subgingival antibiotic placement.
